Chef job postion for winter season in Norway
Kirkenes Snowhotel Varanger kommune.
Kirkenes Snowhotel is looking for a new chef for the coming winter season!
We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in our 3 on-site restaurants – in one of them, we cook the food over an open fire; the two others are located in a renovated sheep barn.
Local food is our basis, and experience with Norwegian cuisine is a plus, though not a requirement.
A creative, positive and flexible chef is what we look for!
Our season job is short but busy, and you should be able to adapt quickly.
Experience/interest for cakes, bread and pastries is an advantage.
Our guests and staff come from around the world, and you must appreciate an international work environment.
As for your spare time, Kirkenes is no party metropole, but if you like outdoor activities like hiking, skiing or fishing, you will like it here!
Applicants must be over 20 years old, and have a valid European driving licence category B.
Fluent English is essential.
Nordic language is a plus.

It is also possible to take a taxi, or call us for transfer arrangement.
How to get here:
– There is direct flights from Oslo every day. Takes only two hours.
Both with SAS and Norwegian.
– Hurtigruten from Bergen to Kirkenes. Takes a little bit longer but is a beautiful trip!
– Russian border only 15 km from Snowhotel, Finnish border 50 km from Snowhotel

The SnowHotel on the top of the world. Beautiful snow art, ice statues, and unique rooms. The Snowhotel is open from December , 20th untill April 20th.
