One of the top International brands well known for their luxury properties world wide and in Belgium is urgently seeking a Restaurant Executive Chef to take charge of their upscale a la carte restaurant in their hotel located in one of the most popular regions of Brussels.
Reporting to the Executive Chef, this restaurant chef will also be in charge of the hotel’s bar and lounge that will serve a variety of beverages and afternoon tea.
Our client prefers some one who is knowledgeable and experienced in cooking west end cuisine, with fresh ingredients and local market produce.
You will be required to create menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It is mandatory for this Chef to have extensive working experience in high end restaurants, and “International” experience in 5* luxury brands is very important.
If the right Chef shows an extraordinary reliability and motivation, it is possible to become a member of a task force for further hotel openings all over Europe.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an innovative and creative chef with a solid 5* background
Experience in a similar Position, preferable in a recognized international hotel chain
Significant insights in East Asia especially China, Hong Kong or Taiwan
Fluent English skills are mandatory, good French skills are an advantage
Preferable experienced in French cuisine.
Excellent leadership skills as part of a multinational team
An open-minded character with a great cosmopolitan attitude
Familiar with all HACCP measures within a hotel operation
