Executive Chef
Scope of Position:
The Executive Chef leads the culinary function for Coco Bodu Hithi, reporting directly to the General Manager of the resort.
Requirements:
Professional Qualification, preferably in Hospitality and/or Hotel Management
Minimum 5 years of international chain experience, including minimum of 3 years as Executive Chef in a 5 star Hotel and/or Luxury Resort
Displays emotional maturity and sensitivity when dealing with others
Strong training and mentoring skills
and taking interest in the team’s development, safety and welfare
Remains tactful and is able to professionally relate to colleagues at all levels of the company
Strong analytic skills, both financial and non-financial
Remains ahead of the latest trends in the culinary industry and utilize knowledge to enhance revenue and the guest experience
Must possess full knowledge of HACCP standards and implementations
Outstanding personal presentation, a team player and a good role model within the Management Team
Resilient to remain self-motivated and inspires others to be fully engaged in the change process and achieve success
Excellent communication skills in English and other International Languages are considered as an added advantage
Proven creativity and innovation in menu design and food concepts
Work experience in an Island environment, a definite advantage
Prefer European
Able to work with Multi-Culture team
