We are passionate about traditional Italian cooking; serving fresh handmade pasta, wood-fired Napolitana pizza, and antipasti using premium local and imported Italian ingredients.
With a loyal local following and a busy summer season ahead (December- March), we are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to become an important part of our kitchen team from October/November onwards.
About the role
This will be working in our pasta section, producing fresh pasta daily and cooking dishes to order while maintaining the quality, consistency, and standards our guests expect.
We’re looking for someone who has:
-At least 3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy à la carte restaurant
-Strong experience in fresh pasta production and cooking to order
-A passion for authentic Italian cuisine
-Excellent organisation and attention to detail
-Good English communication skills
-A positive attitude and pride in their work
-The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Under 30? You may be eligible for a New Zealand Working Holiday Visa.
Over 30? If you have the right experience, we can support a New Zealand Work Visa application for the Chef de Partie position.
