Hevd : Working at Hevd you can expect an international kitchen environment where the main language is English and Italian.
The concept is both a hand craft bakery with its own whole sale, and a cafe with both bakery goods and fresh lunch meals.
Hevd vision is to serve fresh and well-tasting lunch, in a modern and upbeat tempo restaurant / cafe. The kitchen in Hevd works closely with the bakery – and several of our tasty meals include daily fresh sour dough bread from the bakery. We are proud to be a new and tasty option for lunch made from the scratch in the center of Trondheim.
A chef working with us should enjoy cooking food in a hectic and upbeat environment. The kitchen is open between 1030-1545, Monday-Sunday. At 1600 – Hevd is taken over by Una Pizzeria Torget, and the busy lunch place turns into a pulsating pizzeria.

Due to covid-19 restrictions the restaurant is less busy and less crowded.

Information about the position: We are looking for one cook / chef with cooking certificate. The regular tasks will include everyday prep, preparing food from the a la carte menu and following the HACCP system requirements. We are very pround of our kitchen and food and seek a chef who is passionate about food.
We offer a full time (approx 150 hours pr month) position with daytime as main working hours.

• The applicant must have a chef certificate and well-documented relevant experience, minimum 3 years.
• You must also be service minded, structured and tidy. Not to forget a good mood when at work 🙂
• If you have experience with the Italian kitchen this would be an advantage
• In the kitchen, you can count on hectic days and should enjoy high speed.
• experience with the Italian kitchen is an advantage
• Able to speak and be understood in English / first interview will be held in English

Wanted education:
• Chef certificate
• HACCP course

Wages: approx. 29.000 NOK gross pr. Month (~3000 EURO), depending on experience and qualifications. You are paid by the hour and the work hours by month can vary between 150-160 hours.

Housing: The employer can assist in housing. Candidate will pay a maximum of 6000 NOK per month.

Contract type: fulltime, shift. First the candidate is given a 3 month contract with possibility for a permanent contract.

Other information: The restaurant is located in the centre of Trondheim with short walking distance to all facilities.
